The Shenton Park shop is an outlet for Strange Grains in Leederville. The presentation leaves a lot to be desired.

As someone who has tried all types and brands of gluten free bread, none have lived up to the standard found at Strange Grains Bakery. It's fresh, it's chemical free and it's absolutely delicious.

At $13.00 for a loaf of vacuum sealed sough-dough you'd be expecting something special, I was very disappointed. The bread is baked well and looks good but the taste / flavour / texture only just matches supermarket sough-dough at half the price :|

I don't think Strange Grains bread can even be compared to the gluten-free bread one buys in the supermarket. The commercially produced loaves in the supermarkets are full of chemicals or taste like cardboard. Strange Grains have done an amazing job of creating an alternative for those of us who cannot tolerate gluten. The bread is tasty and wholesome and the biscuits/slices/buns are delicious. Fabulous customer service too.

I would have to agree with Peter Todd. Very Underwhelmed after trying their bread. I also bought a Fruit Loaf at $10.....No flavour. Slices are very thin.
